Empowering Your Learning Experience with SparkLearn's Latest Updates

If you're a SparkLearn user, you may have noticed some exciting changes in recent months! Our team has been working hard to bring new and improved features to enhance your learning experience and make content creation a breeze for Content Managers. We’ve been heads down building and testing these features to ensure they have that same “easy-to-use” feeling that SparkLearn is known for.

Let's take a look at some key highlights from our latest major release, Version 3.8, which is just now hitting our customer accounts (February 2023).

New Interactions for a Better User Experience

One of the key goals of SparkLearn is to make learning as engaging and effective as possible. With our latest release, we're introducing a range of new interactions that will help you dive deeper into the content you need and explore information in a more interactive way.

These features offer some powerful new tools that will help you reduce your dependence on outside authoring tools and make sure you create content that your learners see via the recommendation engine and adaptive learning tools built into SparkLearn.

Accordion: This feature allows you to quickly expand and collapse sections of content, so you can focus on the information you need without having to scroll through long pages.

Slideshow: The Slideshow feature allows Content Managers to present a deck of slides with graphics and text, making it easier to convey information and keep learners engaged.

Hotspots: The Hotspots feature is a fun and interactive way to explore content. This feature lets you click on images to reveal more information, including text, images, and even videos.

Writing Assistance with Built-In Grammarly Support*

Good writing is critical to creating effective learning content. With our latest release, we're excited to introduce a Grammarly integration right in SparkLearn. We’re avid users of Grammarly here and love the AI-assisted communication assistance the platform provides.

Grammarly correction in SparkLearn

If you have a Grammarly account and are logged in, you'll be able to use your full account features and suggestions within SparkLearn. Brand adherence, sensitivity to audience tone, and appropriate and inclusive language are vital for modern learning content, and Grammarly is the best and easiest way to achieve this.

These new features will help make your experience with SparkLearn even better. Our team is dedicated to continuously improving the platform and bringing you the best tools and resources to support your organization's learning and training goals. If you have any feedback or suggestions, please don't hesitate to reach out to us!

*As of January 10, 2024, Grammarly's SDK for applications has been discontinued and will no longer be integrated into SparkLearn.
