What's New in SparkLearn 3.3?
Our goal as a platform is to keep evolving and constantly improving.
Some improvements come from our internal team - while many come from our customers. To keep you up to speed with some of the latest major updates, we have summarized some key highlights from recent major releases, including our newest release Version 3.3.
Version 3.3 – July 2022
New and Enhanced Features
Assigned Content – Content managers can assign content and add due dates to users based on the groups they are in.
Email Notifications – In addition to in-app notifications, we saw the need to be able to notify learners that may not use the app version so, we have now enabled email messaging from the app.
Changes to Existing Features
Podcast Mini-player – An update to our podcast player that makes it easier to view other content while listening to podcasts. When a user starts a podcast and hits the back button to navigate elsewhere, the podcast will keep playing. A mini-player will be available at the bottom of the screen enabling them to control the playback and see current media status.
Version 3.2 – May 2022
New and Enhanced Features
Localization – The SparkLearn Interface elements and content sections can be localized. Content managers can now duplicate learning materials and add in their own localized text and content. When engaged with, localized versions of content will report back to the original language version so, it doesn't matter which version a learner views for reporting purposes. Learners have the ability to choose their preferred language from a list set up by the administrators.
Automatic Group Assignments – Users can be automatically assigned to and removed from groups via Single-Sign-On (SSO).
