SparkLearn 3.14 and 3.15 Offer More Content Connections and UX Updates!

This month, we released two back-to-back updates to the system, delivering new customer features and improved learner experiences.

The first significant update is our new connection with Xyleme and their Syndicate API. If you need to get more familiar with it, Xyleme is a large Learning Content Management System (LCMS) used to simplify and streamline content creation and publication. Enterprises globally use it to streamline content creation and publishing across their businesses.

This connection allows for:

  • Using Xyleme content directly in SparkLearn via API calls

  • Publishing Xyleme content using SparkLearn native tools, allowing for ease of viewing and expanded search capabilities

  • Xyleme materials come in as native SparkLearn articles, so xAPI statements and tracking work just like other materials published with SparkLearn

Another major update is the ability for Content Managers to add quiz questions with multiple correct answers. This gives greater control to your learning teams when coming up with questions and responses with greater flexibility.

Quite a few of the other updates in these releases enhance the learner experience including:

  • Updates to the sign-in screen layouts and options for single sign-on users

  • Better print views for articles

  • Streamlined completion checkmarks and information buttons

  • Article views on larger screens have been adjusted to allow for better visual separation

  • Groups view improvements and refinements

Finally, our system has been updated to improve performance for both learners and Content Managers.
